Simon Green - Team Owner.

Simon, although only 27 years old has been involved in the motorsport industry since
the age of 12 when at a trip karting for a friends birthday the motorsport bug well
and truly bit!

After a couple of years of indoor karting Simon made the switch to Formula TKM in 1998. On the day
Simon left school he went straight to work for a local kart team, SRS Racing, which gave him not
only the money to race himself but experience of running customers karts.

Simon then went to work full time in the main stream garage industry to help him achieve his Level 3 NVQ
in car maintenance whilst working for a auto electricians and Renault main dealer, however this
whole time he carried on his own racing and moved into Formula Rotax.

In 2001 Simon went to work for A1 Rallysport, that at this time mainly specialised in Cosworth
powered cars where he stayed until December of 2005, here his wealth of experience quickly grew
where he both built race and WRC rally engines, and completed cars to compete in both the UK and
overseas, including one off specials such at a 656Bhp Cosworth powered 4x4 Mk6 Fiesta. During 2005
Simon personally made the switch from karting to circuit racing in the Ford Saloon Car
Championship in 1600 Mk3 Ford Fiesta.

On leaving A1 Rallysport Simon went to work for historic Lola sportscar specialist’s Fox Racing,
where his role was to build and race prepare various Lola sport cars, whilst also completing his HGV licence.

In 2007 Simon returned to A1 Rallysport where he continued to work until the start of 2009. In this
time Simon was responsible for building a Ford Focus RS, Escort WRC car with a 550BHP engine that
was raced in the Ford Saloon Car Championship and LMA Euro Saloons, the full rebuild of a 2005 Porsche
GT3 Cup Car which competed in the 2008 Brit Car Silverstone 24 Hour and as well as the maintenance for
a number of other and varied race cars.

Now in 2009 Simon has decided to set up his own business and is truly looking forward to this exciting and
challenging prospect.
